Moudov uses the mushroom Amanita muscaria, collected around the border region between Bulgaria and Turkey, to create a mosquito repellent. The mushroom embodies the duality of the border – poison and medicine, attraction and repulsion. Beneath the soil, its mycelium forms networks of connectivity that recognize no divisions. This repellent offers a new way of protection through compatibility, opening the border to a different perspective.
