Dan Dan, 2010 is a work realized in connection to the group performance “Unmaking Dan”, executed by the members of the Institute of contemporary Art, Sofia after Dan Perjovschi’s solo show at the gallery of the Institute. The performance consisted of removing the drawings of Perjovschi from the walls of the gallery. Dan Dan, 2010 shows Ivan Moudov peeling Perjovschi’s drawings off the wall with an abrasive wheel. The artist then collects the resulting indistinct powder in small paper packages.
