Fresh Window, 2011

Fresh Window is a site-specific installation in the gallery space. The frame of a gallery window is repainted from the inside every 30 minutes, thus remaining wet throughout the duration of the show. Even though a pot of paint and a paintbrush are respectfully exhibited on a plinth as art objects, the white-cube space itself is activated and the visitors exposed to the perils of everyday reality.
