Garbage II, 2010 is an artistic action, developing further the ideas of “Garbage”, 2009. The artist placed garbage bins next to existing recycling containers in courtyards and public spaces all over the city of Frankfurt. All of the bins have a sign saying that the trash collected in them will be disposed in Poland. The work is realized as a comment on the geo-political and historical relations between Germany and Poland.
