The one square meter circle is a metaphorical reconciliation between time and space, the square as representing logic and physical reality, and the circle as the symbol of the absolute. The mathematical and symbolical value of the number 1 (a single entity, but also the symbol of beginning and creativity) is paradoxically expressed by a number in an infinite progression (the diameter of the circle).
