The work is a literal embodiment of the saying “The More You Know, the More You See”. When the artist was invited to teach a Master class at the Zurich University of Arts (ZHdK), he proposed to clean the windows of the building of the University, instead of giving lectures. The artist reverses the logic of the proverb: by making the seeing through the windows clearer he makes the students know more.
