Already Made 4 (Timm Ulrichs), 2007, is a double mise en abyme, where the artist reproduces and then repeats a work by German artist Timm Ulrichs. In 1971 Timm Ulrichs documented a suggested attempt to steal a drawing from a museum, by making a photograph of himself, holding a plastic bag right under the artwork on the wall. Ivan Moudov reproduces this gesture, by taking a picture of himself standing with a plastic bag under the hanged photograph of Timm Ulrichs’s stealing attempt.
