Untitled, is a realistic plastic mannequin of a young girl, used in window displays, with a blond wig and a light blue dress. The style of both the model and the dress seem old fashioned, yet timeless - a generic picture of cute innocence. However the figure is also very disturbing and it might take a while to understand what’s actually wrong with this picture. The little girl is pregnant. Time is congealed in multiple layers in this work – the fleeting moments of fashion, promise and innocence, the weight of potentialities and futures, the sheer burden of time itself.
