Welcome is an installation, which creates confusion for the public already at the entrance of the gallery. With the help of only a few elements - like hinges and a handle mounted on the outside of the gallery window, and wooden steps constructed on the inside – the viewers are tricked to believe that this is actually a door. As a consequence many visitors try to (unsuccessfully) open it and enter through the vitrine.
