Floor (Punta) is an installation by Ivan Moudov in the new space of PUNTA gallery. With it, the artist intervenes in the architectural integrity of the gallery, laying the groundwork for the debut group exhibition (and all those to come). In his work, Moudov engages with the constituent elements of the white cube, literally constructing one of them – namely, the floor.
Through his performance, Moudov touches on the theme of the artist at work. In this case, he combines activities conventionally understood as "work" with those belonging to art, thus uniting the earthly and the transcendental.
